Thomas more society intervenes to defend Illinois parental notice of abortion act.

Chicago, October 29—Today, the Thomas More Society filed a petition to intervene, on behalf of three Illinois state’s attorneys, in Cook County Circuit Court to defend the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act. Proposed “bubble zone” would prohibit pro-lifers from coming within eight feet of any person approaching an abortion facility

Chicago, Oct. 6—The following media advisory is submitted by the Pro-Life Action League and the Thomas More Society Pro-Life Law Center, Chicago:

When: Wednesday, October 7
9:00 am – Protest starts
9:30 am – Media conference

What: Chicago abortionists, led by Planned Parenthood, are pushing the Chicago City Council to adopt a new “bubble zone” ordinance, which would make sidewalk counseling nearly impossible in Chicago.

The Pro-Life Action League has organized a protest at City Hall to send a message to Chicago’s leaders that stopping their free speech with an unconstitutional ordinance is unacceptable.
