Karin Freihammer serves as the Director of Development for the Thomas More Society, passionately guiding Midwest major donors to make a profound impact in building a just and virtuous society through their support of courageous clients standing for life, family, and freedom.
In addition to directly serving donors, she leads a the team of regional Development Directors, ensuring exceptional stewardship, impactful updates, and meaningful reports for our donor partners. With over 30 years in the nonprofit sector, including 18 years at Relevant Radio, Karin also brings experience from development roles at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a nonprofit supporting victims of domestic abuse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She holds a double major in Theology and Human Services from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, and a Master’s degree in Theology from St. Vincent DePaul Regional Seminary in Florida. Karin considers it a privilege to connect with Thomas More Society’s generous donors, whose investments help renew the culture.
Married to Jerome, she is a proud mother to a married daughter and a delighted grandmother to one grandchild. In her free time, Karin enjoys observing and feeding suburban wildlife at home in Mount Prospect, Illinois, and soaking in the architectural grandeur and vibrant energy of downtown Chicago, where Thomas More Society is headquartered.
