A development veteran of nearly 20 years, John French serves Thomas More Society supporters in the northeast and northcentral states. After graduating from Xavier University, he served in the Navy at Boca Chica Field Naval Air Station Key West and Sherman Field Naval Air Station Pensacola: "My service in uniform instilled in me the enduring values of honor & service; I bring that same esprit de corps & fighting spirit to Thomas More Society."
His development career began in earnest in Chicago, where he secured new donors and sponsorships to support Starboard Media and Relevant Radio during the early startup years, helping to strengthen the radio networks’ financial position. He subsequently served in Virginia as a gift officer and staff liaison for a regional foundation, securing seven-figure gifts to benefit churches, schools, and pro-life ministries.
Today, John takes great pleasure in serving Thomas More Society supporters, encouraging charitable generosity to meet current needs while building a lasting foundation for the future through bequests from wills and trusts. He also hopes to encourage visionary benefactors to establish an endowment to support our legal team in perpetuity to defend the soul of our nation. In his free time, John is often found enjoying long runs or snow skiing with family in the high peaks of the Adirondacks. He is an avid reader, especially non-fiction books on history, geopolitics, and culture.
